Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in film and TV is best known for films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only daughter to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into the world of show business early, and ended up acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she reached the age of 16. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film), was critically and critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated features featuring female stars. Alexandra is known for her involvement in many noteworthy projects both domestically and internationally. Some of these include the British biographical documentary Control, the Greek drama film The Dust of Time, and the French historic miniseries Napoleon. She has also been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in the Cannes Film Festival.
