Aisling Bea
Aisling B a was born on 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March, 1984) is a comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011, after appearing as a guest on a variety of Irish TV shows as well as British series since 2009. Bea began performing frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms in 2012. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents were Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. She was the only female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea was awarded the award to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born April 16, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet, who committed suicide at the age of three when Bea reached the age of three, was a victim of self-harm. Bea was informed of his death only at thirteen years of age. The stage name she chose was Bea to pay tribute to her deceased father. She also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's suicide experience. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a professional jockey for a time. Her family were fascinated by racing meetings and horses. Bea was a guide at The Irish National Stud in her beginning days. But she was aware it wasn't something she wanted to do for a living and that she was more interested in performing.
